MCT Bar Ingredients

Collagen

Collagen may be popping up all over your Instagram feed, and it’s not all hype. Collagen is an abundant protein in the human body - found in our bone, muscle, and ligament structures.

Collagen production declines as we age, contributing to signs of aging like weak joints, wrinkles, and brittle hair and nails. One remedy can be found in supplementing your diet with collagen, like bovine collagen.

What is Bovine Collagen?

Collagen supplements can use bovine collagen, a naturally occurring protein in cows. The collagen in cows is similar to our own. We source from the highest quality grass-fed bovine hide to support your body.

A new kind of protein bar - every MCTBar contains 10g collagen protein that supports glowing skin, flexible joints, and strong hair, nails, and bones.

MCT Oil

Medium-chain triglyceride oil, better known as MCT oil, is a type of fatty acid naturally found in coconuts.

MCT oil vs. Coconut oil

MCT oil is a concentrated source of 100% MCTs effective for energy production (especially on a keto diet). Coconut oil has a lower MCT content, making it more attractive for cooking and skin and hair care.

MCT oil is often consumed as an energy source t, making it the perfect ingredient for MCTBars.

Chicory Root Fiber

The importance of fiber has been preached by everyone, from dietitians to doctors, because it’s linked to better digestion and a healthy gut. Chicory root fiber is a type of inulin (a soluble fiber) sourced from the roots of chicory plants. Soluble fiber absorbs water, creating a gel-like substance to help digestion and slow gastric emptying.

Prebiotic chicory root fiber is an important piece of the MCTBar, promoting heart health and blood flow while promoting better digestion and an improved immune system.

Monk Fruit

No sugar and still sweet. Attention sweet-tooths!

Monk fruit is native to southern China and has been used for centuries as a remedy for colds and digestive issues. It has also been used to make food and beverages a little sweeter. Or a lot sweeter - monk fruit is almost 100-200 times sweeter than sugar!

Monk fruit sweeteners contain zero calories and no added sugar. Swap out sugar-packed snacks with a dessert MCTBar for a healthy alternative. Our favorite flavor is Cookie Dough with cacao chocolate chips. It's easy to curb your craving!

Organic Almond Butter

Peanut butter has met its match: almond butter. Organic almond butter has an impressive, nutritious line-up making it an attractive swap for your PB&J. Almond butter is a good source of healthy fats, supporting heart health. Plus, they’re power-packed with Vitamin E antioxidants.

Is Almond Butter Keto?

Absolutely, it’s made up of mostly protein and fat and contains very little carbs.t. Almond butter adds to the texture and taste, and nutrition of MCTBars!

Cocoa Butter

Cocoa butter (or cacao butter) is a popular fat people on low-carb and keto diets are turning to! Cocoa butter comes from cocoa beans - the same ones that produce chocolate and cocoa powder.

Cocoa butter solidifies (like coconut oil) and can be a nourishing addition to your skincare routine or lip balm, but eating raw cocoa butter can also have benefits!

Cocoa butter’s benefits stem from its source of vitamin C and fatty acid content. We use cocoa butter to give MCTBars that silky, melt-in-your-mouth feel. The perfect texture for our dessert bars, making it an alternative to your regular chocolate bar without the guilt.
